
About This Project
Introduction
I’m Aizah Zaidi, a high school student with a strong passion for exploring neuroscience and its importance in global well-being. This resource was created as a Capstone project for my Global Online Academy (GOA) Neuropsychology course. This website, called Sleep Education, aims to explore the cognitive importance of sleep and raise awareness for its critical role in preserving wellness around the world. It was created in alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goal #3: “Ensure healthy lives and promotee well-being for all at all ages."

My mission is to provide visitors with free, accessible information about the role of sleep in our cognitive well-being and suggest practical strategies to globalize sleep education. Through this resource, I intend to contribute to the crucial effort of enhancing worldwide health and improving sleep quality by inspiring change and educating others.
This project utilizes reputable sources that provide valuable research in neuroscience and public health, including the National Institutes of Health, Oxford Academic, Nature, Sleep Foundation, Elsevier, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It was made possible with tools such as Canva, Wix, and Typeform.
